Image
We live in a world where social media influencers shape trends, drive consumer decisions, and even change public opinion. But now, a new kind of influencer is stepping onto the digital stage - Meta influencers. With artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR) , and virtual reality (VR) evolving rapidly, the influencer game is shifting. So, the question arises: Is the future of human influencers in danger? In this blog, we’ll dive deep into the rise of meta influencers, what they are, how they differ from human influencers, and what it means for the future of the digital creator economy. If you're a brand, marketer, or just someone fascinated by social media, this is your must-read guide. Who Are Meta Influencers? Meta influencers are digital personas powered by AI and often designed using 3D modeling and AR/VR technology. They can be fully virtual beings or avatars managed by real people. Unlike traditional influencers who are real humans with real lives, meta influencers ...

What is Artificial Intelligence? Stages and Types Explained.

Image
Understanding Artificial Intelligence "AI is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines” –  John McCarthy A few years back, when I first heard the term Artificial intelligence (AI), the only thing that came to mind was the robots shown in the movies. Well, after putting in a lot of research work, I learned that it's not only about the robots, there is a lot more.  Ref: Freepik Artificial intelligence is a constellation of many different technologies working together to enable machines to sense, comprehend, act and learn with a humanlike level of intelligence. In simple words,  AI is the simulation of human cognitive intelligence. Artificial Intelligence has already spread to almost every sector so far. And, w ithout us even realizing it, AI touches our lives daily. AI has different stages and types, let's walk through the stages of AI. A walk through the stages of Artificial Intelligence There are three stages of AI, based on their capabilities. They are:...

GPT-3 is a new writer - The Future of Writing

Image
Let's go back to the time when it all started. In 2020, when the whole world was shut down, Elon Musk's Open AI announced GPT-3, a language model which is trained on 175 billion parameters. The model uses machine learning to produce any text that can possibly be written by a human.  GPT 3 can code in any language by giving it a textual description. Not only that, it is capable of generating pictures from the text, writing, and reading articles.  In 2020, The Guardian asked GPT-3 to write an article and you can hardly tell if it was written by GPT 3 or a human.                                                                                                                         ...

ERICA: The Robot's Empathetic Laugh

Image
Today, we are living in an era of technological advancement that blurs the lines between science fiction and reality. From  cyborgs  to humanoid robots - the replica of human beings, our world is constantly expanding and growing. We humans have innate abilities such as facial expressions, ethics, humor, and much more. But for humanoid robots, which are considered to be the exact replicas of human beings, having human-like abilities is quite difficult. But, there are no limitations on what humans can make machines do . A team at Kyoto University has implemented an AI shared-laughter model on the humanoid robot named Erica. This model, trained to respond naturally to real-time jokes, enhances Erica's human-likeness, allowing her not only to resemble but also to interact with humans naturally. Fig: Erica Ref:  https://robots.ieee.org/robots/erica/?gallery=photo1   In human behavior, humans decide what kind of laugh is appropriate and what is not based on the situation, ...

What is a Cyborg? Do Real-Life Superheros Exist?

Image
How will you feel if you could hear colors or would be able to control objects with your mind or even live forever? Well, the extraordinary fictional characters that you see in movies are called superheroes, but in real-life those superheroes are called cyborgs.  Cyborgs are a half human and half machine. Yes, you heard that right.  Let's meet a few of them. A body upgrade: Meet former Professor of Cybernetics at the University of Reading,   Kevin Warwick , the world's first cyborg- half man, half machine.  (Cybernetics is the science of communications and automatic control systems in both machines and living things.) While most of the world was busy upgrading the software of their computers, Professor Warwick was looking at the possibilities of upgrading his body.  In 1998, he went under the knife to implant a silicon chip transponder system onto the median nerve of his forearm, linking his nervous system with a computer. The chip enabled him to crack the neur...
